Service Suspension & Auto-Reactivation

Detailed breakdown of overdue invoice grace periods, Pterodactyl container suspension behavior, instant webhook-driven reactivation, and final termination policies.

1. Suspension & Termination Timeline

Day 0

Invoice Due Date: Server continues operating normally.

Days 1 - 3

Grace Period: Service remains fully active. Reminder emails dispatched.

Day 4

Automated Suspension: Container stopped. Files preserved intact on NVMe storage.

Day 14

Permanent Termination: Files, databases, and IP bindings purged permanently.

2. What Happens When a Server is Suspended

When suspension triggers:

  • The Wings daemon safely halts the Docker container process.
  • In the Game Panel, your server is marked with a Suspended badge and power actions are temporarily disabled.
  • Your world data, mods, and MySQL databases are completely safe and preserved. Nothing is deleted during suspension.

3. Instant Automated Reactivation

Reactivating your server requires no manual staff intervention:

  1. Log in to client.oryncloud.com and locate the overdue invoice.
  2. Pay the invoice using UPI (BharatQR/PhonePe/GPay) or Cryptocurrency.
  3. Within 60 seconds of gateway confirmation, WHMCS executes the unsuspendServer() API call.
  4. The suspension lock on the Game Panel is immediately lifted, and you can click Start to resume operations.

4. Data Retention & Permanent Termination

14-Day Termination Cutoff

If an overdue invoice remains unpaid for 14 consecutive days post-suspension, the automated provisioning daemon permanently purges the container volume and associated databases to recycle storage on our host nodes. Data cannot be recovered after termination. Always download local backup snapshots if pausing operations.
