Renewals, Upgrades & Cancellations
Learn how automated renewal invoicing operates, how to upgrade your RAM and CPU on the fly without wiping data, and how to request formal service cancellation.
1. Service Renewals & Notice Windows
OrynCloud operates a transparent recurring renewal cycle. Renewal invoices are automatically generated and emailed to your registered address 7 days before your renewal due date.
- 7 Days Prior: Initial renewal invoice dispatched by email.
- 3 Days Prior: Courtesy reminder email.
- Due Date: Final due date notification.
- Grace Period: Your server stays active for 3 additional days past due date before any suspension occurs.
2. Upgrading Hosting Plans (Pro-Rata)
As your community expands, you can upgrade your Minecraft server (e.g., from Wood Plan 4GB to Stone Plan 8GB or Iron Plan 16GB) directly from the client area.
Zero Data Loss During Upgrades
Upgrading your plan dynamically alters container resource limits (memory, CPU, disk) via the Pterodactyl Application API. Your world files, plugins, mods, and IP addresses remain 100% untouched.
- Go to
client.oryncloud.comand click Services → My Services. - Select the server you wish to upgrade.
- In the left sidebar under Actions, click Upgrade/Downgrade.
- Choose your target plan. The system calculates a pro-rata invoice covering only the remaining days in your current billing cycle.
- Pay the pro-rata invoice via UPI or Crypto.
- Once paid, restart your server in the Game Panel to apply the expanded RAM allocation.
3. Downgrading Server Specifications
Plan downgrades are processed at the conclusion of the active billing cycle. Before requesting a downgrade:
- Verify your total disk usage fits within the storage limit of the target lower tier.
- Verify your server plugins and worlds do not require more RAM than the lower tier provides.
4. Service Cancellation Procedures
If you no longer require a hosting service, you can submit an automated cancellation request:
- Navigate to your service in the Client Portal.
- Click Request Cancellation under the Actions sidebar.
- Select your preferred cancellation type:
- Immediate: Deprovisioning occurs within 24 hours. (Download all world backups before choosing this).
- End of Billing Period: Server stays active until the expiration date and is not billed again.
