SFTP & File Manager Connection Guide

1. Pterodactyl Web File Manager

The built-in File Manager in panel.oryncloud.com is perfect for quick configuration edits, archive unzipping, and files under 100 MB:

• In-Browser Code Editor: Click any .yml, .properties, or .json file to edit with syntax highlighting.
• 1-Click Archive Extraction: Upload a ZIP or tarball and click the three dots → Unarchive.
• Fast Download: Click the three dots beside any file to download it directly to your PC.

2. When to Use SFTP (Large Files & Worlds)

Browsers struggle when uploading multi-gigabyte folders or thousands of loose chunk files. For complete world migrations or massive modpacks, always use an SFTP client. SFTP supports parallel multi-threaded transfers and automatic resume on network drops.

3. Connecting with FileZilla (Step-by-Step)

1. Download and install FileZilla Client from filezilla-project.org.
2. Open FileZilla and click File → Site Manager (or press Ctrl + S).
3. Click New Site and name it OrynCloud Minecraft.
4. Configure the following parameters:
   • Protocol: Select SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol.
   • Host: Enter the connection address from your panel settings (e.g., sftp.node1.oryncloud.com or node IP).
   • Port: 2022 (Wings default).
   • Logon Type: Select Normal.
   • User: Paste your exact SFTP username (e.g., alex.8f3a9d1c).
   • Password: Enter your Game Panel account password.
5. Click Connect. If prompted with an Unknown Host Key warning, check “Always trust this host” and click OK.

4. Connecting with WinSCP

If you prefer WinSCP on Windows:

File Protocol: SFTP
Host name: sftp.node1.oryncloud.com
Port number: 2022
User name: your_email.uuid_short
Password: [Your Panel Password]

Save the session for 1-click access anytime you want to push files to your server.
