Visual Server Properties GUI Reference
Eliminate syntax errors, invalid spacing, and typos. Configure your Minecraft world settings, game rules, and player limits through a sleek visual dashboard.
1. Properties GUI Overview
Manually editing server.properties in raw text often causes accidental corruption (e.g. typing ture instead of true, or breaking MOTD unicode formatting). The Properties GUI extension parses the file and renders each setting with purpose-built UI controls.
2. Interactive Switches, Sliders & Inputs
1-click toggle switches for PvP, Flight, Nether, Monsters, Animals, and Hardcore.
Smooth numeric sliders for View Distance (3–32) and Simulation Distance (3–16).
Select Difficulty (Peaceful, Easy, Normal, Hard) and Gamemode without typing errors.
Live preview with color picker for section signs (§) and formatting codes.
3. Built-In Validation & Error Prevention
The GUI locks critical fields like server-ip and server-port to your authorized Pterodactyl allocations, guaranteeing you can never accidentally trigger port binding crashes.
4. Bi-Directional File Synchronization
Changes saved in the GUI write directly to server.properties on disk. Conversely, any manual edits made via FileZilla or raw file editor are detected and reflected in the GUI immediately upon next page load.
